Our #Swim1922 event is back in person! Join the 💙💛Golden Grand Rapids Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority, Inc. 💙💛on Saturday, June 11th for a free family event you won’t want to miss!

This event is all about water safety! Geared towards kids ages 5-17, topics will cover practical information in a fun and accessible way. Participants will rotate through four informational stations:

🛟The Importance of Lifejackets

🛟What to do in an Emergency

🛟Where and When To Swim

🛟Swimming Safely – avoiding injury

By the end of the day, participants will know how to confidently and safely engage with aquatic environments (pools, lakes/ponds & rivers) and gain valuable tools to help them react in the event of an emergency.

We will have a mobile vaccination clinic provided by Cherry Health, different vendors, workouts, music, games in the park, and food & more!

Cherry Health is supporting the vaccination clinic and will have both Moderna and Pfizer vaccinations. Vaccinations will be available for people ages 5 and older for first shot and any boosters needed.
